Publish to Marketplace
Once your Skill is ready, publish it to the OpenClacky marketplace so users can find it.
Pre-Launch Checklist
Before publishing, confirm:
- [ ] Skill tested locally — output meets your standards
- [ ] Encryption complete (
SKILL.md.encgenerated) - [ ] White-label configured (if applicable)
- [ ] Cover image ready (recommended: 1200×630px)
- [ ] Skill description written (first impression for users)
Publishing Steps
1. Go to the Publish Page
Log in to OpenClacky and click Create Skill in the top-right corner.
2. Upload Your Skill Package
Upload SKILL.md.enc — the platform automatically parses Skill metadata (name, description, version).
3. Fill in Marketplace Details

| Tagline | One-sentence description of what the Skill does |
| Full Description | Markdown supported — include use cases and example outputs |
| Category | SEO / Legal / Trading / Content / Data Analysis… |
| Cover Image | Key visual for attracting clicks |
| Tags | Improve search discoverability |
4. Set Pricing

5. Submit for Review
The platform completes a basic review within 24 hours — primarily verifying that the Skill description is accurate and free of malicious content.
After Publishing
Auto-Generated Sales Page
Every Skill gets a dedicated sales page URL with built-in SEO optimization, ready to share on social media or send directly to clients.
Version Management
To update your Skill, simply upload a new .enc file:
- Installed users see an update prompt the next time they start Clacky
- Choose between forced updates or allowing users to stay on the old version
- Each version has independent Release Notes
Taking Down a Skill
You can unpublish a Skill anytime from My Skills:
- New users cannot install it
- Existing users are unaffected and can continue using it
